Harvested by hand by tea pickers from the Banyan area of Wuyi mountain, Da Hong Pao or Big Red Robe is the King of Wuyi mountain rock Oolong teas! A highly-revered cultivar, the Da Hong pao sub-variety is one of the most prestigious Chinese tea.  It is characterized by a mellow body, strong roast aroma and floral aftertaste.
Origin: Fujian
Benefits:  Studies and research have shown that oolong teas are predominantly helpful in weight management and can effectively reduce obesity. Other benefits include protection against tooth decay, prevention of development of cancerous cells, relief from atopic dermatitis, improvement of mental alertness and performance, protection of mineral bone density, and on the whole, a veritable source of antioxidants.

Note: High quality teas can be steeped for several more times. In the case of this high quality Oolong tea, it can be re-steeped three to four more times!  Please do not leave the tea leaves steeping in the water. Remove it as soon as soon as you have achieved the desired strength to stop the brewing process. Of course, if you like your tea strong, you can steep it longer.
