Masala Chai (Tea) is a popular drink in India and surrounding regions. Using black tea as base, it is prepared with milk, sweetener, and spices. Traditional masala brew utilizes strong and pungent spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.

PREPARATION (Choose preferred option from the list below)
1) Without milk or sweetener - Follow standard steeping instruction for tisanes but extend steeping duration for another minute.
2) With milk & sweetener - Follow standard steeping instruction for black tea; steep for 5 minutes then add 1/4 cup of milk and sweetener of choice (stevia or honey) to taste.
Note: Give the leaves a quick rinse prior to brewing to remove dust and dirt. We provided a standard brewing instruction above but at the end of the day, tea is how you make it. Cheers!
